I am giving two stars to be gracious. Was excited at the idea of them but, to me, they were super dry, hard as a rock, turn to dust immediately, and too large to eat easily. I picked them up at Costco but I will not be buying again. I'm trying to figure out how to use them in some other way than just a snack by itself. OH, and they aren't cheap.

These hazelnuts have proved to be an exceptional find and are worth every penny. I distribute a small, measured portion daily outside my large picture window, which has provided a wonderful, comforting escape while I am dealing with restricted mobility. Watching the local wildlife including the incredibly enthusiastic red squirrels, grey squirrels, and chipmunks has been an absolute joy. Many of the nuts are being diligently buried by my backyard visitors, so perhaps I will even see a few new saplings emerge in the coming years. A truly heartwarming purchase!
